J.C.STAFF is a Japanese animation studio founded in January 1986. Their first production was the three-episode OVA series Sengoku Kidan Yotoden. The series was later re-edited into a full-length film, which was released in the United States under the title "Wrath of the Ninja". Success and recognition came to the studio after the release of "Maze Megaburst Space" and the popular anime series "Revolutionary Girl Utena" aired on TV Tokyo.
