Founded in 2010 by Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, Fake Empire produces writer-driven material that spans genre, geography and period. Schwartz & Savage have created and run THE OC, GOSSIP GIRL, CHUCK, MARVEL’S RUNAWAYS, and the limited series LOOKING FOR ALASKA. They co-created DYNASTY and NANCY DREW and also produced HART OF DIXIE and THE CARRIE DIARIES. President of Fake Empire Lis Rowinski has been with the company since its inception and produces alongside Schwartz and Savage.
