Sort Of – Season 2
The show follows the characters of Sabi, a queer South Asian student and their friends as they navigate love, family, work and school. As they confront new challenges, they have to figure out how to live life on their own terms in a world that’s often not ready for them.
In season two, Bilal Baig (Sabi) and Amanda Cordner (Mina) are joined by an incredible cast of new and returning talent including Grace Lynn Kung (Bessy), Gray Powell (Cahil), Kaya Kanashiro (Kat), Aden Bedard (Toby), Ellora Patnaik (Lily), Supinder Wraich (Aastha), Dhirendra (Rajat), Becca Blackwell (Nina), Gregory Ambrose Calderone (Sam) and Cassandra James (Lena).
Creators Bilal Baig and Fab Filippo, who is also the showrunner, bring back the same heart and humour from the first season, with bigger and bolder story arcs that explore more complex themes. This time around, it’s all about love: romantic, platonic, familial and self-love. The writing explores the nuances of these relationships and shows us that there is no one definition of what love should be.
If you haven’t already watched SORT OF, now is the perfect time to jump in! Season 2 is sure to make your heart flutter, so don’t miss out on this unique and heartfelt show.
