Exception

Exception is the upcoming science fiction horror television series from Studio 5, directed by Yuzo Sato and written by Hirotaka Adachi. The series follows a scouting team made up of members created through a biological 3D printer, sent to search for a planet suitable for terraforming. When a system malfunction causes one crew member to emerge in a deformed state, the team must fight for survival against their own malfunctioning crew member.

The series features an all-star cast of Nolan North (Uncharted), Chikahiro Kobayashi (Pokemon XYZ), Robbie Daymond (Fate/Grand Order) Takahiro Sakurai (Attack on Titan), Ali Hillis (Mass Effect), Yuko Kaida (Monster Strike), Eugene Byrd (A.I. Love You), Takanori Hoshino (Akame ga Kill!), Nadine Nicole (Mr. Robot) and Atsumi Tanezaki (Kaguya-sama: Love is War). The series features music by legendary composer Ryuichi Sakamoto and character designs by Yoshitaka Amano (Final Fantasy), making it an exciting new addition to the world of science fiction horror.
